The name is from a delightful book by Jules Verne, and an even more delightful film by Eric Rohmer. (And I saw the green ray itself once – but that’s another story.)
All being well, we should open in late October.
We’ll be a general bookshop, selling new books in all genres, for all ages. We’ll also be serving coffee and wine.
Crucially, we want Green Ray Books to be a community bookshop,
with local people – you! – very much involved. For example:
